However you found your way here, you are welcome. Most people arrive because they know Eric, or they know someone who does, or they came across something he built and wanted to understand what was behind it. Zoseco has been around since 2014, and it has always been rooted in the same thing: the people who gather around it.

Where this comes from

The name goes back to the Air Force. A few junior officers who liked each other's company wanted to set up a cafe. Somewhere to get drinks after work, one day a week. They had essay contests, conversations that had no business being professional, and the kind of fun that young people have when they genuinely enjoy being around each other. The codename was a play on one of their last names. It was never a business plan. It was just a good time with good people, and the name stuck long after everything else about the idea changed. One of them eventually went and built something real under it. That was 2014, in Valparaiso, Indiana.

What it has become

The first form was a physical gathering space, and in time that gave way to something else. The people who kept showing up had things in their lives they cared about, and they trusted the person they knew to help. So the work grew, naturally, from the relationships. Everything here exists because someone brought something real to the table, and it deserved to be treated with care.
